As Founding President, I am deeply honored to lead this growing national organization grounded in the values of unity, empowerment, and representation. AFNPC was created to serve as a bridge—linking Filipino Canadian nurses across provinces, strengthening leadership capacity, and giving voice to our shared experiences and aspirations in Canada’s health care landscape. 

 

Guided by our vision of a strong, connected, and empowered Filipino nursing community, and by our mission to promote career advancement, expanded networks, equitable representation through mentorship and professional development, AFNPC is committed to being a driving force for unity, progress, and inclusion. Filipino Canadian nurses are vital to the health system, yet remain underrepresented in leadership, academia, and decision-making tables—spaces where our voices and contributions are vitally needed. 

As we build momentum, I warmly invite you to become a member of AFNPC. Whether you are a student, a frontline nurse, an educator, a leader, a researcher —you belong here. Your story, your expertise, and your voice matter. We also welcome non-nurses who support our mission to join us as Associate Members—your partnership strengthens our collective impact.
